Coordinator – Tools Crib (AMC)

Role Overview

This role involves managing and supporting operations within the AMC Tool Store Department, ensuring both physical and digital oversight of aircraft tools in alignment with GCAA, EASA, and company policies.

Key Duties

• Assist in issuing and receiving AMC aircraft tools for authorized users following established company procedures.
• Maintain total accountability for all AMC tools using various control methods such as shadow boards, toolboxes, vending machines, RFID/barcode tech, and other approved digital systems.
• Perform tool inventories during shift changes, after work packages, and as needed.
• Promptly report and investigate any missing tools as per company regulations.
• Accurately log all tool transactions within the digital tool management platform conforming to company standards.
• Keep tool storage locations neat and organized, including specialist tools, calibrated instruments, and consumables.
• Ensure proper storage conditions are upheld and carry out daily housekeeping in AMC Tool Store areas.
• Inspect returned tools for defects, cleanliness, and completeness, quarantining unserviceable items.
• Track calibration due dates, removing and quarantining tools that are near or past expiry.
• Arrange necessary calibrations with authorized providers and maintain precise records.
• Follow Safety Management System mandates and adhere to aviation regulatory quality standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• High School Diploma is required.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Familiarity with aviation industry practices.
• Between 2 to 4 years of relevant experience.
• Valid UAE Driving Licence.
