About Feeding Tampa Bay
Feeding Tampa Bay is a prominent hunger relief organization serving ten counties in West Central Florida. Annually, it provides about 85 million meals through direct programs and a network of over 400 food pantry partners. The organization extends beyond food provision, aiming to build pathways to opportunities for nearly one million people to foster long-term stability and dismantle barriers to food security.
Position Overview
The Retail Rescue Partnerships Coordinator is responsible for managing and developing the retail rescue program. This role ensures program growth, compliance, and precision in data management. Key functions include onboarding and training agency partners, expanding donation pickup schedules, managing real-time donation data, partner accountability, resolving documentation issues, and stewarding donor relationships to boost donation volumes.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform regular visits to retail donor locations to nurture relationships, provide appreciation, and educate on safety and donation processes to align store and agency operations.
- Facilitate onboarding for new retail donors and partner agencies within the retail rescue network.
- Analyze donor capacity and partner schedules to strategically scale and optimize store pickup days, maximizing rescued food.
- Manage the MealConnect platform as the primary administrator, addressing user issues and ensuring accurate, live donation data tracking.
- Monitor and resolve missing retail receipts and reporting discrepancies from agency partners to maintain accurate donation records.
- Design and conduct both virtual and in-person training sessions for agency partners on MealConnect usage and retail rescue compliance.
- Lead orientations emphasizing program setup, food safety, and donor relationship management.
- Maintain data integrity across Salesforce, MealConnect, Netsuite, and internal systems related to donor relationships, compliance, and goals.
- Prepare regular data reports and metrics including quarterly and annual summaries to support program growth tracking and management dashboards.
- Gather, organize, and clean data for grant reporting and compliance audits.
- Incorporate feedback from agency and retail partners to enhance user experience within the retail rescue program.
- Represent Feeding Tampa Bay at community meetings, donor functions, and partner locations as needed.
- Collaborate with Operations and Procurement teams across departments.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment while embodying Feeding Tampa Bay's mission to treat everyone equitably and respectfully.
- Possession of an associate degree or at least two years of relevant experience in data coordination, logistics, or database management.
- Bilingual skills are advantageous.
- Comfortable with training and public speaking, especially delivering technology training to adults.
- Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce, food banking software like MealConnect and Netsuite, or data visualization is preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace is required.
- Strong communication and conflict resolution abilities, especially in managing partner compliance and resolving documentation issues.
- Physical capability to lift up to 35 pounds.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly within the 10-county service region for training and site visits.
- Commitment to ending hunger and supporting the community's neighbors.
- Willingness to engage in mission-driven activities, including food distribution and disaster relief efforts.
- Internal candidates must have good standing with no corrective actions within the past 90 days.
Work Conditions and Schedule
This position is primarily onsite at the Causeway Center with standard core hours from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The job is classified as nonexempt.
Compensation
The salary range for this role is $43,900 to $45,220 annually.
