About the Role

Join the team at Jugendherberge Nottuln, a modern youth hostel hosting nearly 30,000 overnight stays annually with 178 beds across 44 rooms. Their visitors include school classes, music groups, families, and solo travelers. This role offers the opportunity to work where others vacation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare meals carefully and with enthusiasm in the kitchen environment.
• Engage warmly and with service orientation with both young and adult guests.
• Carry out general kitchen cleaning duties.
• Manage inventory monitoring and receipt of goods.
• Collaborate effectively within the team, maintaining good organization and reliability while adhering to hygiene standards such as HACCP.
• Work hours mainly from Monday to Friday mornings.

Role Requirements

• Preferably previous experience as a kitchen assistant in a large kitchen setting.
• Basic proficiency in the German language.
• Flexibility, dependability, and a strong willingness to contribute.
• Enjoy working collaboratively and demonstrate proactive thinking.
• Bring forward ideas to enhance quality and participate actively in improvements.
