About the Role
As a Contract Recruiter with RXO, Inc., you will be responsible for managing the full recruitment process to attract top talent across all levels, ensuring candidates have a highly positive experience. This is a growth-oriented opportunity to help expand a diverse and engaged workforce.
This position is based at RXO's Charlotte headquarters, located at 11215 N Community House Rd, Charlotte, NC, operating on a hybrid schedule with onsite work Monday through Thursday and remote work on Fridays.
Daily Responsibilities
- Collaborate with management to formulate effective hiring strategies and create talent pipelines for current and future organizational needs.
- Conduct regular meetings with business and HR partners to provide education on recruitment best practices and market insights, including the deployment of hiring procedures and tools.
- Manage the offer process encompassing salary proposals, offer letter creation, and tracking acceptances or rejections, while negotiating collaboratively with business stakeholders.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of data within the applicant tracking system.
- Coordinate interview scheduling and handle associated logistics.
- Guarantee a seamless and positive experience for all candidates.
- Build and sustain a network of contacts to identify and source highly qualified candidates through multiple channels.
- Initiate outreach to suitable candidates through direct sourcing for specific job openings.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of work and military experience is required.
- At least one year of experience in high-volume sales or professional recruiting is necessary.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Familiarity with Workday ATS system.
- Proven ability to thrive in fast-moving, dynamic work settings.
- Prior experience within the transportation, logistics, or freight brokerage industries.
- Skilled in advanced sourcing techniques and proficient use of LinkedIn, Indeed, and other recruiting platforms.
