Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Apply your expertise to evaluate the scope and requirements of construction projects.
• Develop detailed and accurate cost estimates, bids, and proposal packages for excavation, foundation work, and flatwork projects.
• Coordinate with field supervisors and the business development team to ensure pricing accuracy and timely bid completion.
• Engage in contract and price negotiations with clients to achieve profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Establish and nurture long-lasting client relationships through outstanding customer service and responsiveness to client needs.
• Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain favorable pricing.
• Support the construction phase by tracking expenses and identifying opportunities to reduce costs.

Experience and Skills Required

• Demonstrated experience in construction cost estimation focusing on pricing and project budgeting.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and application.
• Aptitude for negotiating with clients to secure contracts.
• Keen attention to detail with analytical skills essential for accurate estimating.
• Proficiency in computer applications such as Excel, Pipeliner CRM, and related software.
