Construction Assistant in Recycling

About the Role

We are hiring a Construction Assistant specializing in Recycling for the DB Bahnbau Gruppe GmbH at the Hannover location, starting as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle tasks related to track materials including upper track layers, concrete sleepers, and small metal parts.
• Load and unload upper track materials efficiently.
• Support the construction teams within the operational site grounds.
• Participate in maintenance work and customer service duties.

Candidate Profile

• Preferably completed vocational training, such as road construction worker, civil engineering specialist, or bricklayer, with initial experience in a manual trade area.
• Demonstrate high flexibility, self-initiative, and willingness to engage in short-notice operational tasks.
• Exhibit a responsible work ethic and reliable teamwork abilities.
• Enjoy working outdoors and be prepared for temporary assembly duties including shift work during nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• Possess a valid Class B driving license and ideally have experience operating construction machinery and equipment.
