Role Overview
We are seeking a Communications & Marketing Associate to join our growing team. The position offers a comprehensive scope of responsibilities spanning content creation, public relations, event organization, and campaign coordination, perfect for those eager to rapidly develop their marketing expertise across various areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the planning, scheduling, and publishing of content on social media platforms, ensuring brand consistency and monitoring performance.
- Create engaging written materials such as blogs, newsletters, LinkedIn updates, and email campaigns that simplify complex scientific concepts.
- Assist with PR activities including media monitoring, preparing coverage reports, drafting press releases, and briefing senior leaders.
- Organize and support conferences, trade shows, and webinars, including managing on-site events.
- Contribute to the execution and monitoring of marketing campaigns across communications and commercial marketing teams.
- Maintain organized content calendars, mailing lists, and sales collateral libraries.
- Conduct research on competitors, industry trends, and audience insights, summarizing findings for team usage.
Candidate Requirements
- Exceptional writing skills with the ability to tailor tone for different formats and audiences.
- Strong interest and curiosity in digital platforms, especially LinkedIn content performance.
- Highly organized and proactive, capable of managing multiple responsibilities and meeting deadlines effectively.
- A genuine passion for life sciences, genomics, or health technology; no formal science qualification required but strong motivation for the mission is essential.
- Team-oriented and adaptable, comfortable working under two different leads while maintaining initiative.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in marketing, communications, or content roles.
- Familiarity with digital tools such as Webflow, Mailchimp, Sprout Social, Canva, or Figma.
- Interest in media relations, events management, or public relations.
