This opportunity is for a Clinical Trial Assistant in the United States, supporting a partner organization that handles the application and hiring process. The position is geared toward someone who is highly organized, detail-conscious, and comfortable contributing to clinical research programs in a fast-moving life sciences environment.
You will help keep study operations running smoothly, maintain accurate records, and coordinate with internal teams and outside partners throughout the full study lifecycle. The role offers exposure to clinical research operations, modern platforms, and collaborative project work while supporting initiatives that improve efficiency and patient-focused delivery.
What you will do
- Work with project management teams to keep assigned study activities on track and help meet operational deadlines.
- Maintain study schedules and assist with planning onboarding sessions, training, and important meetings.
- Prepare, check, organize, and complete study documents and reports.
- Support the transfer of documents and communication with external stakeholders and client operations teams.
- Set up and maintain study configurations in clinical trial management systems, including access and login details.
- Partner with internal teams to support study delivery and patient-centered operations.
- Handle client communications, shared inboxes, and prompt responses to questions.
- Track and process invoices for translations and other study-related services.
- Send customer surveys, gather responses, and compile the results for review.
- Assist with payment workflows, including virtual card handling and distribution.
- Provide basic user support for platforms and help resolve operational issues.
- Contribute to internal improvement efforts, process updates, and special assignments as needed.
- Finish required training within the expected timelines.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred, though equivalent professional experience may also be considered.
- About 1 to 2 years of experience in clinical research, clinical trials, or a related healthcare operations field is strongly preferred.
- Strong computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to juggle schedules, deadlines, records, and several priorities at once.
- Experience with invoices, payments, or financial tracking is an advantage.
- Knowledge of foreign currency conversion and international transactions is helpful.
- Clear written and spoken communication skills for working with clients, vendors, and coworkers.
- High attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy.
- A customer-oriented attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
- Comfort working independently while following established procedures and guidelines.
- Flexibility, patience, and a willingness to learn in a changing environment.
