Job Overview

This is an on-call, part-time role based in Innisfil, Ontario, Canada, working remotely but requiring the candidate to be located locally to attend occasional office meetings or training as needed. The role involves field-based residential cleaning appointments across Ontario, supporting home preparation after tenant move-outs, maintenance, or for ongoing housekeeping services.

Typical Responsibilities

• Perform move-out cleaning for rental homes
• Conduct vacant-unit turnover cleaning
• Carry out deep cleaning post-maintenance or renovations
• Prepare homes prior to new resident move-in
• Provide housekeeping for occupied residences when scheduled
• Clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living spaces, hallways, and common areas
• Detail cleaning including appliances, cabinets, closets, baseboards, and windowsills
• Dust, vacuum, mop, sanitize, and remove debris
• Complete final quality inspections before finishing assignments
• Take completion photographs when requested
• Report any damages, maintenance issues, or cleaning concerns requiring follow-up
• Use a mobile app to update assignment statuses
• Travel directly between various scheduled properties

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of 2 years of professional cleaning experience
• Ability to work independently on residential cleaning tasks
• Experience in move-out, turnover, deep cleaning, or housekeeping duties
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
• Professional communication skills with customers and internal teams
• Ability to recognize and report issues rather than overlook them

Requirements

• Own reliable vehicle for travel between assignments
• Possess personal cleaning supplies and equipment
• Smartphone capable of GPS, mobile apps, photography, and job updates
• Basic proficiency in English communication
• Consistent attendance and good organizational skills

Preferred Experience

• Residential turnover and property preparation cleaning
• Post-maintenance or renovation cleaning
• Experience with apartments and condominiums cleaning

• Work in high-volume residential cleaning environments
