About the Role

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a Cleaner to help maintain high standards of cleanliness at the Co Op on Kinmundy Road in Peterhead. The position is permanent and part-time, with 10 hours of work per week.

The role focuses on delivering reliable service, staying aligned with service level agreements, and working to agreed cleaning routines. You will contribute to a safe, tidy, and well-maintained environment for staff and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Keep cleaning equipment clean, properly maintained, and safe to use.
• Carry out work in line with service standards, agreed SLAs, and scheduled cleaning plans.
• Develop familiarity with the assigned area, including the equipment and cleaning products used there.
• Follow health and safety rules and complete any required training.
• Work well both as part of a team and independently while providing good customer service.

Candidate Profile

• Basic spoken and written English skills are needed.
• Prior cleaning experience is helpful but not mandatory.
• A flexible, proactive approach to daily tasks is important.
• You should be honest, self-motivated, and determined.
• Reliability, hard work, and a professional attitude are expected.

Pay and Contract Details

The hourly pay rate is £12.71. This is a permanent part-time position based at Co Op, Kinmundy Road, Peterhead, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, AB42 2A.
