About the Opportunity

Gregory Group is seeking a dedicated Class 1 Driver to support the collection and delivery of AdBlue, liquid sludge, and specialist equipment to a diverse customer base, including commercial sites and rural locations. This role involves a mix of predetermined delivery routes and instances where route planning is required to ensure efficient, timely transport. Representing the company professionally, you will interact directly with customers both in person and via phone, maintaining a high level of service at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transporting AdBlue, liquid sludge, and specialized parts and equipment to various sites and depots.
  • Executing collections and deliveries according to scheduled rotas; planning own routes when necessary for operational effectiveness.
  • Engaging with customers to provide top-tier service and represent company values.
  • Loading/unloading vehicles safely—manually or by Counterbalance forklift (training provided).
  • Organizing stock at depots when required.
  • Performing thorough daily vehicle safety inspections using the company mobile device to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Adapting to varied driving environments, including extensive rural routes.
  • Accommodating occasional overnight stays (up to four nights per week) depending on operational needs.
  • Participating in periodic training to maintain current industry standards and compliance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Valid UK Class 1 CE Licence.
  • Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
  • Prior experience with vacuum tankers and wastewater handling preferred (training provided).
  • Outstanding organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Confident, respectful demeanor and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Solid awareness of local geographic areas.
  • Demonstrated commitment and strong motivation for hard work.
