Position Overview
CT SCAN is looking for a Chief Operating Officer to join the executive team and help shape the company’s operational engine as it grows. The role is centered on creating scalable systems, strengthening partnerships, supporting commercial growth, and working closely with senior leadership to build a durable foundation for expansion.
The right person will bring senior-level clinical research experience, a strong grasp of both operations and business direction, and a track record of building systems and teams in fast-moving environments.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will lead operational strategy, improve internal processes, support business development efforts, and help position the organization for long-term scale.
- Create and execute operating strategies that align with growth objectives.
- Build repeatable processes and infrastructure that can support larger initiatives over time.
- Set measurable performance indicators and define operational standards.
- Continuously refine workflows to improve efficiency and consistency.
- Partner with executive leadership on long-range planning and organizational direction.
- Develop and maintain relationships across the clinical research landscape.
- Spot collaboration opportunities and help advance strategic partnerships.
- Support business development with sponsors, CROs, physician groups, research sites, and healthcare partners.

Qualifications
- More than 10 years of leadership experience in clinical research operations, healthcare, or life sciences.
- Proven success leading growth-focused operational initiatives.
- Solid understanding of clinical trial execution and site-level performance.
- Background in forming strategic partnerships within the clinical research sector.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
- Entrepreneurial approach and comfort working in a high-growth setting.
- Genuine interest in improving how clinical research is delivered.
