Role Overview

As a Car Detailer working the evening shift, you will play a vital role in upholding Clutch's high standards for vehicle presentation prior to delivery. This fast-paced, goal-oriented position requires dependability, a customer service mindset, and evening availability from Monday to Thursday, 4:30 PM to 3:00 AM, with an additional $1.50 hourly shift premium.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean vehicle interiors and exteriors, including washing, vacuuming, polishing, and sanitizing, measured by cleanliness scores and output targets
• Apply standardized detailing procedures to achieve quality and timing goals
• Inspect vehicles for cleanliness issues or defects requiring further attention
• Utilize appropriate tools, cleaning agents, and techniques aligned with company standards
• Complete all detailing before vehicles proceed to subsequent production phases or customer delivery
• Manage cleaning supplies inventory and coordinate restocking when needed
• Safely operate and maintain detailing equipment
• Adhere to safety protocols and proper chemical handling procedures
• Maintain clean, organized, hazard-free work and detailing spaces
• Work closely with production and quality assurance teams to meet daily operational objectives

Candidate Requirements

• Post-secondary education is preferred
• Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and aptitude for teamwork
• Holds at least a G2 Driver’s License with a clean driving record
• Legal authorization to work in Canada
• Ability to commute to Mississauga, Ontario
• Commitment to a full-time 40-hour workweek with potential overtime

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in vehicle detailing, inspection, quality control, or automotive production
• Knowledge of production workflows and vehicle preparation operations

Employment Details

This is a permanent, full-time role with a wage of $20.00 per hour plus a $1.50 hourly shift premium for evening work. Compensation is guided by skills, performance, market standards, responsibilities, and workplace conditions.
