About the Role

At Google, the role of the Program Manager is pivotal in solving problems comprehensively to create equitable opportunities globally. This position involves leading complex and multidisciplinary projects through their full lifecycle, involving coordination with multiple stakeholders across different offices and time zones. The Program Manager is responsible for planning requirements, managing schedules, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring smooth communication among cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and maintain an overarching timeline of project goals and deliverables, leveraging the roadmap to set stakeholder expectations and coordinate resources effectively.
• Engage with team members and stakeholders to analyze work challenges, define program objectives, establish priority deliverables, and assess the impact of programs.
• Conduct comprehensive risk identification, evaluation, and mitigation activities related to budget, schedule, resources, and technical aspects while monitoring risk evolution and impact.
• Develop, implement, and monitor processes in partnership with stakeholders, ensuring compliance with policies, accountability among teams, securing resources, promoting process improvements, and supporting adoption of standardized workflows.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in program or project management roles.
• Preferred experience includes stakeholder management and working collaboratively within teams in dynamic environments with competing priorities.
• Strong abilities to build professional relationships and deliver results across cross-functional groups.

Additional Information

Compensation is influenced by skills, experience, and educational background. For this location in Germany, the salary range is €78,000 to €80,000 annually, plus a 15% bonus target, equity options, and benefits.
