About Revium

Revium is a Melbourne-based digital and AI consultancy that helps organisations tackle challenging problems and uncover new possibilities through AI and custom-built solutions. Their work covers strategy and advisory, AI solutions, websites and portals, application development, and MarTech and data services.

With more than two decades in the industry and a close team of about 40 specialists across AI, strategy, design, engineering, data, and marketing, Revium emphasises a collaborative, people-first environment. The company supports growth through competitive pay, regular performance reviews, learning opportunities, team events, flexible hours, a time-in-lieu arrangement, and the ability to work from home up to four days per week.

The Melbourne office is located in Cremorne, roughly a five-minute walk from Richmond Station and close to the city’s cafes, bars, and creative neighbourhood energy. As the business expands, Revium is looking for a Business Analyst to join the team.

Role overview

In this role, you will sit between clients and the development team, helping translate business needs into clear, practical technology solutions. You will work closely with UX specialists and the wider Revium team to understand client challenges, design suitable approaches, and document the work needed to deliver them.

The projects may include complex enterprise websites, bespoke applications, AI consulting and implementation work, and ongoing client support. The role also involves helping with smaller client engagements and projects where needed.

What you will do

  • Lead or support requirements gathering sessions, including client workshops where needed.
  • Produce business, functional, and technical documentation such as BRDs and FSDs.
  • Translate client needs into clear instructions for developers and designers.
  • Brief delivery teams with precise, well-structured implementation guidance.
  • Support AI delivery on client projects and contribute to the internal rollout of AI tools and workflows.
  • Help prepare and validate quotes.
  • Carry out testing, verification, validation, and quality control, including compatibility checks.
  • Communicate with clients about requests, progress, and project updates in a professional manner.
  • Create test scenarios, test cases, and test plans.
  • Prepare training materials and user documentation.
  • Serve as the main contact for selected clients at times.
  • Deliver strong internal and external customer service.
  • Escalate issues quickly when they could affect delivery or quality.
  • Contribute to the knowledge base and continuous improvement efforts, especially where AI can improve efficiency.
  • Work within Waterfall and Agile/Hybrid delivery models depending on the engagement.
  • Assist with solution and architecture design.

What success in this role may look like

  • Running a requirements workshop for a client starting a website re-platform.
  • Delivering a training session on a Customer Data Platform for a marketing team.
  • Working with a Digital Producer to resolve issues uncovered during development.
  • Scoping and estimating requirements workshops for a bespoke AI insights tool while coordinating with internal subject matter experts.
  • Regression testing an AI tool ahead of launch for a corporate client.
  • Prompt engineering a bespoke AI product within client requirements and safety guardrails.
  • Running an on-site AI enablement session for a client.
  • Building AI-enabled efficiencies into an existing process.
  • Performing browser compatibility testing for an enterprise website and logging defects in the internal ticketing system.
  • Documenting detailed technical and functional requirements in an FSD.
  • Preparing a release plan for an upcoming product launch.

What you should bring

  • 3 to 5 years of business analysis experience, including systems and process analysis.
  • Experience in a digital agency or consultancy role is preferred.
  • Current Australian residency and the ability to work from Melbourne or nearby suburbs.
  • A strong track record of leading requirements workshops and producing high-quality BRDs and FSDs.
  • Strong analytical ability and excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident, regular use of AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar in daily work from the first day.
  • The ability to step into digital producer-style responsibilities at times, including planning, client management, and end-to-end delivery ownership.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience creating test plans and test scenarios.
  • The ability to design logical database structures.
  • Strong presentation skills, including workshop facilitation.
  • A proactive, self-directed approach and the ability to stay composed under pressure.

Application approach

Revium values cover letters and resumes that are honest and straightforward. The team looks for people who work transparently and genuinely align with that mindset.

Additional information
