  • Create and maintain detailed business analysis documentation such as requirements specs, process maps, user stories, acceptance criteria, traceability matrices, business rules, decision logs, and implementation inputs.
  • Assess existing processes and systems to identify risks, pain points, and improvement opportunities leading to future-state designs and benefit realization.
  • Coordinate with project teams, technical experts, vendors, and business representatives to ensure clarity and feasibility of requirements throughout project phases.
  • Support communication, change management, and stakeholder engagement activities by providing impactful analysis outputs.
  • Assist with solution validation through involvement in design reviews, option evaluations, testing preparations, defect resolution, and business readiness checks.
  • Identify and escalate gaps, risks, assumptions, and critical decisions early, maintaining transparency in governance forums.
  • Prepare and present various project and governance materials illustrating analysis findings, risks, stakeholder feedback, and recommendations.
  • Embody and promote organizational values: Showing Initiative, Working Together, Customer Focus, and Taking Responsibility to support transformation success.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in business analysis within ICT, digital transformation, or organizational change, capable of defining and translating business needs into actionable requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to document current/future processes, identify gaps and provide evidence-based recommendations.
  • Skilled at producing and maintaining comprehensive analysis documentation including user stories, acceptance criteria, and traceability matrices.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management capabilities, adept at clarifying requirements and fostering mutual understanding.
  • Dedication to customer-centric service, continuous improvement, collaboration, and embracing change, aligned with TAFE Queensland values.
  • Highly Desirable: experience with complex organizational ICT or process improvement projects, proficiency with business analysis and project governance tools, and relevant certifications or qualifications in business analysis, agile, project management, or service delivery.
