Business Analyst

About the Role

Geoalgo Technologies is seeking a meticulous Business Analyst to serve as the critical link between business objectives and technological solutions. In this capacity, you will evaluate and optimize business processes, collect and record requirements, and collaborate closely with product, engineering, and business departments to develop scalable and efficient solutions.

Primary Responsibilities

• Gather and engage with stakeholders to delineate goals, troubleshoot pain points, and define business logic, converting these into lucid user stories, functional requirement documents, and workflow diagrams.
• Conduct detailed analysis of current operational processes to pinpoint inefficiencies and areas ripe for automation or improvement.
• Act as a communication bridge connecting business leadership, product management, and software development teams to ensure alignment between technical outputs and business goals.
• Execute elementary data analysis to facilitate informed decision-making, verify business regulations, and evaluate the effectiveness after solution deployment.
• Establish acceptance criteria, support the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase, and guarantee that delivered solutions meet all specified business requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• Two to five years of professional experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or comparable product or operations roles.
• Strong proficiency in drafting User Stories, Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), wireframes, and process flow diagrams, with familiarity using Jira, Confluence, Lucidchart, or Miro.
• Analytical acumen with working knowledge in SQL, spreadsheet tools such as Excel or Google Sheets, and introductory data visualization platforms like Tableau or Power BI.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of clearly conveying technical details to non-technical audiences and vice versa.
• Understanding of Agile or Scrum development methodologies.

• Detailed As-Is and To-Be process flowcharts that outline current and future state operations.
• Well-defined User Acceptance Test cases and sign-off documentation to validate deliverables.
