Business Analyst

About the Role

Unity - Inovações Disruptivas is looking for an insightful Business Analyst to act as a bridge between business demands and technology solutions. This full-time position, available at the entry to mid-level career stage, involves collecting and analyzing business requirements, reviewing current processes, and aiding in project delivery and strategy initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities

• Collect, document, and analyze the needs and requirements from various departmental stakeholders.
• Review existing workflows and systems to detect inefficiencies and suggest improvements.
• Convert business needs into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and process diagrams.
• Work alongside project managers, developers, and operational personnel to implement effective solutions.
• Perform data analysis and conduct business performance assessments to aid in informed decision-making.
• Lead workshops and meetings to gather insights and ensure alignment on project goals.
• Support the phases of project planning, testing, deployment, and change management.
• Prepare business cases, dashboards, reports, and presentations for key stakeholders and management.
• Conduct gap and root cause analyses, and assess impacts of business initiatives.
• Assist with user acceptance testing to verify solutions meet specifications.
• Track project results and suggest enhancements for ongoing improvement.
• Maintain thorough documentation including process maps and project records.

Candidate Qualifications

• Preferably experience in business analysis, operations, consulting, project coordination, or data analysis roles.
• Strong analytical reasoning, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage diverse stakeholders effectively.
• Ability to gather, document, and interpret detailed and complex business requirements.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools and familiar with business documentation platforms.
• Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, Visio, Lucidchart, Power BI, Tableau is advantageous.
• Understanding of business process modeling, project management, and implementation practices is beneficial.
• Highly organized with capacity to juggle multiple deadlines and priorities.
• Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively in dynamic environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, Economics, Operations Management, Data Analytics, or similar disciplines is preferred.
