Brick Specialist - Part Time Store Associate

Role Overview

As a Brick Specialist at LEGO® Brand Retail, you will execute essential store operational tasks to deliver memorable shopping experiences to LEGO® enthusiasts of all ages at our Oxmoor Mall location. This part-time position focuses on providing friendly, knowledgeable service in a fun and interactive environment to inspire creativity and play.

Key Responsibilities

• Warmly greet every guest and ensure a distinctive and professional service experience, including cashier duties and maintaining positive, engaging interactions (approximately 80% of responsibilities).
• Maintain an inviting, safe, and visually appealing store atmosphere through everyday cleaning, upkeep of product displays, and adherence to LEGO® Brand Retail visual merchandising standards (about 10%).
• Manage stockroom operations efficiently, assist in receiving inventory, uphold safety protocols, and alert management about potential inventory shortages (around 10%).

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

• Interact effectively with team members and customers, handle register transactions, and adapt to variable work schedules including nights, weekends, and diverse shifts.
• Have unrestricted access to all store areas including sales floor, stock rooms, register sections, and loading dock.
• Work demands include continuous movement and standing for 2 hours or more, lifting up to 30 lbs, and occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, or ladder climbing. Visual abilities include near focus and depth perception.
• Available to work up to 25 hours weekly, spanning at least three separate days and including one weekend day minimum.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly wage ranges from $17.25 to $18.25 based on responsibilities, experience, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
