Role Overview and Responsibilities

• Conduct both pre-silicon and post-silicon verification of Qualcomm wireless chipsets to ensure performance and reliability.
• Create comprehensive test scenarios and develop automation scripts that facilitate the validation of emerging Bluetooth functionalities.
• Analyze and troubleshoot issues related to Bluetooth features and chipsets effectively.
• Communicate dependencies, potential risks, and issues to all relevant stakeholders.
• Plan and break down tasks, including estimation of time required for completion.
• Actively participate in bug review sessions and design evaluations representing the testing team.
• Document processes and results as per departmental standards.
• Drive continuous enhancement of test coverage, execution efficiency, automation, and overall testing processes.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• In-depth understanding and experience in testing Bluetooth products, including both Bluetooth Classic and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technologies.
• Expertise with Bluetooth protocols such as Profiles, Host protocols, and Controllers.
• Proficient in utilizing protocol analyzers and packet sniffers for failure diagnosis and root cause identification.
• Strong debugging and analytical capabilities to isolate and resolve system issues.
• Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to collaborate efficiently across cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with software configuration tools, with preference given to experience with Perforce.
• Education Qualification: B.Tech or B.E. in any specialization such as Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunications, or related fields.

Preferred Additional Skills

• Hands-on experience in writing automation tests using scripting languages like Python or C.
• Familiarity with Bluetooth Interoperability (IOP) and qualification testing.
