Bidding Manager

About the Role

EDGE is looking for a seasoned Bidding & Proposal Manager to take charge of the entire bidding process, driving the delivery of superior, competitive, and compliant proposals within a cutting-edge technology environment.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead the management of intricate bids and proposals, overseeing stages from opportunity identification and qualification to submission and final handover.
• Collaborate with various departments such as Business Development, Finance, Program Management Office, Contracts, Procurement, and Technical teams to align efforts.
• Formulate bid strategies, develop schedules, and establish governance and approval protocols to ensure effectiveness and compliance.
• Conduct thorough analysis of client requirements and spearhead the creation of proposals that meet winning criteria.
• Guarantee smooth transfer from bid conclusion to project commencement.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Possession of a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering.
• Over 15 years of experience specifically in bid or proposal management.
• Profound expertise in handling international tenders within the Aerospace and Defence industry.
• Familiarity with recognized bid management methods such as APMP and Shipley.
• Strong abilities in stakeholder engagement, analytical thinking, and effective communication.
