Role Overview

In this role, you will work closely with individuals, their families, and support networks to develop and aid providers in the implementation of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans aimed at promoting safety, autonomy, and independence. Using your clinical expertise, you will:

  • Perform functional behaviour assessments and formulate evidence-based interventions.
  • Develop both Interim and Comprehensive Behaviour Support plans.
  • Collaborate with families, support workers, and allied health professionals.
  • Coach and mentor support teams to enhance their capacity.

Candidate Profile

You are a compassionate professional passionate about empowering others to fulfil their potential. Key qualifications and attributes include:

  • A tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling, Developmental Education, or a related discipline.
  • Preferably registered as a Core Practitioner.
  • Experience in creating and applying PBS plans within complex environments.
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to foster trusted relationships.
  • Proficient in IT, administration, and organizational tasks, with a focus on managing billable time efficiently.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and readiness to travel as needed.
  • An NDIS Worker Screening Check or the ability to obtain one.
