Role Overview

This full-time, on-site Barista position involves preparing and serving a variety of espresso-based beverages, brewed coffee, teas, and other drinks according to set recipes and quality standards. The Barista is responsible for operating coffee machines, preparing light food items, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the work area, and adhering to hygiene and safety protocols. Key duties also include welcoming guests, taking orders, handling payments, providing excellent customer service, restocking inventory, assisting with café opening and closing tasks, and working collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient daily operations.

Key Qualifications and Skills

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills for engaging guests in a professional and friendly manner.
• Proficient barista capabilities including espresso extraction, milk frothing, and operating basic coffee equipment.
• Clear communication skills to interact effectively with both customers and colleagues.
• Competency in food preparation while maintaining safety and hygiene standards.
• Preferred experience includes previous work in cafés or restaurants, ability to stand for prolonged durations, basic arithmetic skills for cash handling, consistent attendance and punctuality, as well as flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays.
