  • Use bakery production charts to guide baking, display quantities, and next-day preparation.
  • Pack baked goods such as cookies, Danish pastries, muffins, rolls, breads, pies, cakes, and other items as needed.
  • Unload frozen bakery items and place proper quantities on display according to production recommendations.
  • Decorate case items and special orders.
  • Rotate and store products using proper methods that protect food safety, freshness, and handling standards.
  • Receive, inspect, and store bakery shipments correctly.
  • Check products daily for freshness and remove out-of-date items following salvage and stale merchandise procedures.
  • Create labels and price tags, perform price checks when needed, and ensure correct pricing.
