Overview
Join Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. as an Azure Infrastructure Architect based in Pune, India. This role demands extensive expertise in designing and implementing Microsoft Azure cloud solutions, ensuring robust security, efficient networking, and automation using Infrastructure as Code methodologies.
Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct Cloud Readiness Assessments and develop High-Level and Low-Level Designs incorporating security as part of the Cloud Adoption Framework.
- Create roadmaps and deliverables to accelerate migration of existing on-premise applications to Azure via Azure Migration Service.
- Review and implement cost optimization strategies for Azure deployments.
- Lead teams in both manual and automated deployments of Azure resources, including VMs, Networking, Storage, AKS, App Services, Application Gateway, API Management, Key Vault, among others.
- Serve as the lead Azure Cloud Consultant, overseeing project execution, customer engagement, and ensuring timely delivery with strategic oversight and governance.
- Collaborate directly with customer leadership to promote FinOps best practices for cost visibility and operational efficiency.
- Manage resource right-sizing, workload modernization, and Azure governance to align business objectives with technical implementations across development, testing, and production environments.
- Design, build, and deploy cloud-based applications utilizing Azure services including Virtual Machines, App Services, and Containers.
- Configure and manage networking components such as Virtual Networks, Network Security Groups, and VPN Gateways.
- Administer Identity and Access Management through Azure Active Directory and Role-Based Access Control.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code using ARM templates, Terraform, and Bicep, and integrate these with CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments.
- Monitor performance using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and diagnostics tools.
- Maintain thorough documentation of configurations, processes, and ensure compliance with security and governance standards.
Required Expertise
- Proficient in Azure Cloud Services, Azure Network Security, and Azure DevOps.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as ARM templates, Terraform, and Bicep.
- Familiarity with GitOps, GitHub, Ansible, Linux System Administration, Kubernetes, Virtual Machines, Akamai CDN, Azure PaaS, and Compute Services.
- Strong command over Azure networking, storage solutions, and security best practices.
- Skilled in scripting languages including PowerShell and Azure CLI.
- Knowledge of DNS services and Intra ID.
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and automation practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification as Azure Administrator (AZ-104) or equivalent.
- Experience in disaster recovery planning and business continuity.
- Understanding of container orchestration platforms like AKS/Kubernetes.
- Awareness of cost management and optimization methods within Azure.
