Role Overview
This role involves contributing to Amazon's recruiting team dedicated to fulfilling hiring demands within the Operations vertical in India. As an associate recruiter, you will collaborate closely with business leaders to understand their recruitment needs both short- and long-term, develop candidate sourcing plans for various positions, and ensure a positive experience for applicants. The role is suited for someone organized, adaptable, communicative, and eager to support building a talented workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement recruiting initiatives to satisfy hiring goals within the Operations division.
- Handle candidate administrative tasks including maintaining applicant information, scheduling interviews, sharing job descriptions, and updating recruiting platforms accurately.
- Develop and maintain a candidate pipeline to meet future recruitment demands effectively.
- Manage interactions with recruiting agencies as needed.
- Organize and coordinate recruitment events, assessments, and interviews.
- Evaluate applications to ensure candidates meet job criteria.
- Serve as the communication link for candidates, providing logistic details related to assessments and interviews.
- Coordinate background verifications with external agencies for selected candidates.
- Compile candidate documentation for onboarding teams.
- Attend follow-up meetings alongside senior recruiters and hiring managers to assess recruiting plan effectiveness.
- Offer guidance on recruitment and talent acquisition at all organizational levels.
Qualifications
- Minimum bachelor's degree required; master's degree is preferred.
- At least 1 year of relevant recruiting experience preferred, especially in full lifecycle recruiting.
- Experience managing high-volume recruitment as well as corporate recruiting processes.
- Strong communication and organizational capabilities.
