Associate Quality Inspector

Job Overview

The Associate Quality Inspector plays a vital role in applying established inspection procedures to address standard or routine challenges. This position involves receiving direction and guidance from team members while utilizing their foundational understanding of inspection-related theories, practices, and procedures to ensure quality standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Senior Quality Inspector and Quality Inspector in verifying product adherence to customer specifications through independent inspections, regular monitoring, and tests based on the Project Quality Plan.
• Detect and report any non-conformities requiring correction, ensuring that all issues are resolved effectively.
• Assist in evaluating product quality to confirm conformity or identify deviations in line with approved technical drawings and inspection & test plans.
• Maintain thorough documentation of inspection outcomes, and initiate corrective action documentation when non-conformities are found.
• Coordinate with operations, certifying authorities, clients, job sharing personnel, and subcontractors to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Help conduct onsite inspections as detailed by project specifications and the scope of work outlined in the Project Quality Plan and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs).
• Verify compliance with procedures and plans through effective audit and surveillance activities.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school diploma or a degree in a related discipline.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in quality control or inspection roles within a relevant field.
• Familiarity with computer use and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
