About the Role
We are collaborating with a fund seeking a mid to senior professional to join its investment team. The fund operates with a flexible investment mandate encompassing equity, credit, and selective opportunistic investments. Emphasizing a patient, high-conviction approach, the firm deploys capital across a variety of industries, regions, and capital structures. Operating with a family office style mandate, the team can pursue attractive investment opportunities wherever they emerge, investing with discipline, flexibility, and a long-term focus.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting thorough fundamental investment analysis
- Developing financial models and performing valuations
- Carrying out detailed due diligence
- Structuring and executing transactions
- Preparing documentation for investment committee review
- Managing the ongoing portfolio of investments
Candidate Profile & Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have approximately 10 years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, private credit, public markets, or other principal investing environments. Essential attributes include a strong history of evaluating and executing investments, exceptional analytical skills combined with sound commercial judgment, and the capability to assess opportunities across multiple asset classes and capital structures.
Experience in investing across both listed and private markets will be highly valued. Candidates with in-depth expertise in one area who are motivated to expand their investment knowledge and exposure are encouraged to apply.
