Job description
Position Overview
We are in search of a driven Surveyor to take on the role of Associate Director within our Industrial & Logistics team based in Dublin. This pivotal client-facing position involves managing key development projects, taking ownership of client engagements, and actively contributing to business expansion. Collaborating with a high-performance team, you will provide leasing advisory services throughout the Irish market.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for clients on designated projects, offering expert advice and timely updates.
- Assist senior personnel on extensive development initiatives while independently handling smaller projects.
- Participate in business development efforts including pitches and presentations.
- Establish and nurture robust relationships with clients, team members, and external collaborators.
- Identify and pursue new business prospects to support the team’s revenue growth.
- Contribute to transactional services by delivering market insights and technical expertise as needed.
- Manage client account components such as budgeting, invoicing, and financial monitoring.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure delivery of comprehensive, high-standard services.
- Provide guidance and support to junior colleagues fostering team development.
- Ensure all outputs comply with professional standards and company policies.
Essential Skills and Attributes
- Exceptional skills in client relationship management and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong business acumen with a solid understanding of the Industrial & Logistics real estate sector.
- Proficient communication, presentation, and report writing capabilities.
- Well-developed negotiation and business development competencies.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work autonomously.
- Solution-oriented mindset with meticulous attention to detail.
- Team-oriented with willingness to mentor and support peers.
Educational Qualifications
- A degree in Real Estate, Property, or a related field.
- Preferably certified by the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland (SCSI) or working towards this qualification.
- Proven experience in general practice, advisory, or transactional real estate environments.
- Comprehensive knowledge of market trends, relevant legislation, and industry best practices.
