Assistant Store Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an Assistant Store Manager to play a key role in delivering excellent customer service and supporting overall store operations at Spencer's. This position demands active involvement in maximizing sales, increasing profitability, and managing daily store functions in line with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance guest services to ensure an exceptional shopping experience.
• Assist the Store Manager in overseeing store operations including merchandising, inventory management, and expense control.
• Support staff development to drive performance and efficiency.
• Manage shrinkage to minimize loss and preserve assets.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 years to meet company policy.
• Previous experience in retail and/or management roles is mandatory.
• Ability to endure physical demands such as standing or walking for over 8 hours, climbing ladders, and lifting items up to 50 pounds.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly wage ranging from $14.75 to $15.00 based on skills and experience.
