Role Overview

As an Assistant Store Manager, reporting directly to the Store Manager, you will play a crucial leadership role by overseeing daily store operations, motivating the team, and fostering a collaborative, high-engagement environment. Your efforts will enhance store performance, support brand growth initiatives, and ensure an excellent shopping experience for every customer.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and coach the team by maintaining a strong presence on the sales floor to inspire motivation and high performance within a positive atmosphere.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and prioritize customer satisfaction above all else.
• Track store performance indicators, identify growth opportunities, and suggest actionable strategies to meet business goals.
• Participate in hiring processes, onboarding, training, and performance management to nurture talent and support succession planning.
• Conduct inventory management, ensure compliance, and follow procedural standards while demonstrating excellent organization, time management, prioritization, and multitasking abilities.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and optimize product displays to boost sales and profitability.
• Adapt quickly in a dynamic retail environment by designing creative solutions to challenges and driving continuous improvements.
• Promote a culture of teamwork, positive employee engagement, and compliance with company dress code through leading by example.
• Assist with scheduling, floor coverage planning, daily task organization, and delegation to ensure smooth store operations.
• Support omnichannel sales initiatives to maximize revenue and provide seamless customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of team management or supervision experience within retail or customer service sectors.
• Proven ability to create exceptional customer experiences while leading the team to uphold high service standards.
• Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
• Capable of maintaining outstanding performance and quality in high-pressure situations.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to drive sales and meet objectives.
• Excellent multitasking and time management abilities in fast-paced environments.
• Passionate about fashion with a solid understanding of current trends and good personal style.
• Proficient in point-of-sale (POS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Flexible schedule availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physically able to stand for long periods, lift up to 40 lbs (18 kg), and use a step ladder reaching up to 3 meters (10 feet).
• High school diploma is required.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary range is $40,000 to $48,000 annually, potentially higher based on experience.
