Role Summary
We are currently looking for an Assistant Project Manager to support the project manager in driving the success of construction projects assigned to them.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the project manager in procurement, coordination, and execution of construction initiatives.
- Help oversee all facets of projects including ensuring profitability, maintaining schedules, verifying compliance with specifications and drawings, and delivering superior results through established processes and standards.
- Build and sustain positive collaborations with clients, consultants, and subcontractors through effective communication and detailed planning.
- Participate in drafting and managing contracts with trade partners.
- Assist in monitoring and managing the effective and efficient execution of project schedules.
- Help maintain projects within established budgets.
- Promote a cooperative work environment among the design team and subcontractors to swiftly address any field issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, construction science, engineering, architecture, or related discipline from an accredited institution.
- 2 to 5 years of relevant construction project management experience.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong attention to detail.
