Assistant Manager

Overview

If you naturally take charge and coordinate the tasks of others both at home and work, this role as an Assistant Manager at Domino's Pizza is designed for you. In this position, you'll oversee team activities, ensure operational efficiency, and maintain service excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise daily store operations ensuring policies and procedures are followed consistently.
• Handle cost control, inventory management, cash handling, and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Operate all store equipment; stock ingredients from delivery to storage areas and workstations.
• Prepare menu items, receive and handle telephone orders, and perform order processing accurately.
• Complete inventory counts and related documentation timely and thoroughly.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and facilities on a near-daily basis.
• Assist in staff scheduling, marketing initiatives, and drive store profitability.
• Adhere strictly to company standards regarding image, food quality, attendance, and punctuality.

Skills and Abilities

• Strong mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division; ability to make accurate monetary change.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for interaction with customers and team members.
• Proficiency in computer usage including keyboard or touch screen for order entry.
• Excellent multitasking ability with good judgment and decision-making skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and access to a properly insured vehicle for deliveries.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

• Prepare for exposure to varying temperatures from 36°F in coolers up to over 90°F in production areas.
• Operate in confined spaces like walk-in coolers and handle equipment with hot surfaces up to 500°F or higher.
• Perform various physical activities including standing for extended periods, short-distance walking, lifting supplies up to 50 pounds, carrying items including pizza trays and large cans, pushing and pulling tray dollies, climbing stairs or ladders, stooping, bending, crouching, squatting, and reaching above shoulder height.
• Navigate varying weather conditions during deliveries.
• Use hand-eye coordination continuously for tasks such as pizza dough shaping and operating pizza peels and cutters.
