Role overview
This opening is with Bajaj Finance Ltd. and is based at Vizag - Kanchara Palem in Visakhapatnam Rural mandal, India. The role focuses on improving employee productivity through the company’s internal productivity app, with a particular emphasis on feature development and adoption for sales teams across BFL.
What you will do
- Use the organization’s productivity application to improve efficiency by shaping and introducing useful features for sales teams across BFL.
- Act as the product owner and coordinate with the IT team to build a high-quality solution aligned to the needs of different business units.
- Work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand business needs and technology constraints.
- Convert product direction into detailed specifications and create or review user stories.
- Collaborate with IT to make sure app features are delivered within the committed timeline.
- Coordinate with stakeholders across BFL verticals to increase usage and adoption of the Salesone app.
- Support and guide team members so the output meets quality expectations.
Experience and skills needed
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent technical experience is required; an MBA will be an added advantage.
- 6 to 8 years of relevant product management experience, ideally in a technology company or a financial services organization.
- Exposure to finance or fintech, NBFC/lending, or B2C platforms will be beneficial.
- Strong presentation ability and working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and similar tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with different teams.
- Comfort with data analysis to identify insights and adapt as needed.
- Self-driven, highly motivated, and able to take initiative.
Preferred background
- Basic understanding of UX design.
- Experience preparing functional requirement documentation for implementation by IT teams.
