Job description
Position Overview
We are seeking an Architectural Coordinator to play a key role in overseeing architectural activities on construction projects in Singapore. The candidate will collaborate effectively with architectural services and various trades on-site, ensuring smooth coordination and high work quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely and communicate efficiently with architectural trades and other disciplines on-site.
- Manage scheduling of architectural tasks, procurement of materials, control of costs, project supervision, and maintain all necessary documentation.
- Assist in creating, monitoring, and reviewing construction management plans.
- Supervise and inspect architectural works carried out by subcontractors to ensure quality and conformance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships among stakeholders including clients, subcontractors, community members, and other external parties.
- Give support to the Project Manager in coordinating civil, structural, architectural, and System-Wide Contractors.
- Study project drawings thoroughly and collaborate with consultants and subcontractors to resolve technical or site-related issues.
- Ensure architectural works adhere strictly to specifications and drawings.
- Report any technical or site concerns related to architectural works to Project Director or Project Manager.
- Oversee progress of architectural works on the site and coordinate subcontractors to keep work on schedule.
- Ensure all architectural works comply with authority requirements and quality benchmarks without deviation.
- Handle architectural work scheduling, material requisitions, cost control, supervision, and documentation aligned with the master programme.
- Lead preparation and coordination of quality assurance management and CONQUAS assessment processes.
Candidate Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
- Minimum 5 to 7 years of relevant experience with a main contractor on Design & Build building projects.
- Strong knowledge of architectural specifications and coordination requirements with Architectural & MEP works.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- High sense of commitment and accountability in their role.
- Proactive mindset and ability to adapt to changing project needs.
- Excellent communication skills.
