In line with this mission, we seek an Annotation Specialist dedicated to creating high-quality annotated datasets that enhance advanced natural language processing models for generative AI applications. This position is based onsite at our Cape Town office.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce detailed and accurate annotations and labels on diverse textual data samples.
- Develop expertise across various domains, experiences, and organizations to support specialized AI model development.
- Maintain clear, polite, and professional communication, representing the company positively.
- Adhere to departmental procedures and use resources efficiently while meeting or surpassing quality and productivity targets set by management.
Typical Workday
You will engage in labeling and annotating tasks spanning multiple projects throughout the organization, with varying annotation requirements each month.
Team Overview
Our team focuses on understanding human motivation and behavior through machine learning, classification algorithms, and scalable platform services, impacting operations across the company. We incorporate user research, customer experience data, and moderation expertise to enhance customer trust.
Qualifications
- Availability to work a flexible rotating schedule, including night shifts, overnights, weekends, and holidays, fulfilling 40 hours per week plus overtime as needed.
- Preferred experience with computers, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
