Animated Cartoon Colourist

Overview

This role is based in a non-smoking, air-conditioned urban setting in Vancouver, British Columbia, where all work must be performed onsite without remote options. Relocation costs are not covered by the employer.

Job Responsibilities

• Modify and adapt pre-existing illustrations for various media.
• Support the creation of storyboards for electronic media including multimedia, interactive platforms, digital products, television commercials, and productions.
• Create two-dimensional and three-dimensional animated artwork or computer-generated illustrations.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Utilize established photo and illustration libraries along with typography guidelines during production.

Skills and Technology

• Proficiency with Autodesk 3ds Max.
• Experience using Houdini software.
• Knowledge of MARI for texturing and painting.
• Familiarity with NUKE compositing software.
