About the Role

We are looking for an Analyst (Co-op) to join our Valuation & Litigation Support team for a four-month cooperative term from January 2027 to April 2027. This dynamic team collaborates with clients on diverse valuation assignments, applying technical and analytical skills along with sound professional judgment to determine the value of business operations and intangible assets. As a trusted advisor, you will deliver independent business valuations that help clients confidently make informed value-based decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage in valuations of businesses, intellectual property, financial models, and purchase price allocations to clarify client value perspectives.
  • Perform market and industry research on valuation trends, multiples of public companies, and precedent transaction data.
  • Develop cash flow models, valuation analyses, projections, and forecasting tools.
  • Contribute to the preparation of engagement letters, detailed reports, presentations, and correspondence related to mergers, acquisitions, and financing.
  • Assist in project planning and coordinate logistics with clients and stakeholders.
  • Identify innovative opportunities to enhance service value and foster client relationships.
  • Participate in business development activities, including proposal preparation and delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with the client engagement team.
  • Maintain availability for travel when required.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in commerce or business administration, preferably majoring in accounting or finance.
  • Progress toward obtaining a Chartered Business Valuator (CBV) designation is advantageous.
  • Previous experience in professional services, particularly involving financial analysis and modeling, is considered beneficial.
  • Familiarity with financial statement preparation and analysis is an asset.

Compensation
