About the role
Brunel is seeking an Active Sourcer to support recruitment efforts, with a particular focus on the IT space and on attracting talent for its clients in Baden-Württemberg. The role combines hands-on sourcing with candidate engagement, data-driven optimization, and close cooperation with recruiters.

Responsibilities
- Find and engage qualified talent, especially in IT, through relevant platforms, professional networks, and creative sourcing methods.
- Run structured, qualifying first interviews and present the opportunity and employer in a compelling way to candidates.
- Build audience-specific sourcing approaches, including international strategies, and develop sustainable talent pools and networks.
- Use metrics such as conversion rates and funnel analysis to steadily improve sourcing performance.
- Work closely with recruiters to align on profile requirements and ensure a smooth handover into the recruitment process.
- Contribute to strategic topics such as refining sourcing methods, processes, and tools beyond day-to-day sourcing work.
- Maintain an excellent candidate journey through respectful, transparent, and appreciative communication.
Requirements
- A completed degree in business administration, economics, business psychology, or a similar field is required.
- Experience with professional business networks such as LinkedIn is needed.
- Previous hands-on knowledge of active sourcing is required.
- Fluent German and English skills are mandatory.
