Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Accounts & Finance Manager to join our team located in Sharp Nagar, Kalapatti Main Road, Coimbatore. The role demands a candidate with substantial experience in the manufacturing sector, preferably between 8 to 12 years, to lead and manage comprehensive finance and accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire Finance and Accounts department, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Prepare detailed financial statements monthly, quarterly, and annually.
- Manage statutory compliances including GST, TDS, and Income Tax regulations.
- Supervise accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and cash flow management.
- Develop budgets, prepare MIS reports, and conduct financial analyses to assist management decisions.
- Handle product costing, inventory valuations, and implement effective cost control measures.
- Liaise with auditors, banks, and governmental agencies to ensure smooth operations and compliance.
- Ensure timely completion of month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Maintain robust internal financial controls and ensure adherence to compliance standards.
- Lead and mentor the Accounts team to enhance performance and capability.
Requirements
- Possess a minimum education qualification of M.Com, MBA in Finance, or B.Com.
- Have at least 8 to 12 years of experience as an Accounts Manager within the manufacturing industry.
- In-depth understanding of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and Income Tax legislations.
- Previous exposure to manufacturing accounting and cost accounting practices.
- Proficient with ERP accounting systems and Tally Prime software.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong analytical mindset, excellent communication, and leadership qualities are essential.
Preferred Candidate Attributes
- Strong ability to operate independently and support strategic business decisions.
- Experience in budgeting, costing, audit processes, and maintaining statutory compliance within a manufacturing context.
Compensation and Location
Salary range offered is up to 50,000 INR per month (gross). The position is based onsite in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India, at the specified address in Sharp Nagar, Kalapatti Main Road.
