Graduate Professionals Apprenticeship Program (GPAP)

GPAP, hosted by TechBuzz Hub, is an intensive skilling initiative delivering two years of practical experience compressed into three months. It is designed for graduates, career changers, and holiday makers to rapidly gain work exposure, mentorship, coaching, networking, and enhanced employability. Participants begin earning before program completion and have about an 80% chance of job placement contingent on performance. Each cohort is limited to five participants, making it a highly competitive program.

Position Responsibilities

• Learn and operate accounting software effectively.
• Perform accurate data entry related to financial transactions.
• Assist in preparation of financial statements.
• Apply analytical skills to interpret financial data.
• Offer support in various finance-related duties.
• Work primarily from the Kampala office with occasional fieldwork requirements.

Qualification and Skills

• Background in or knowledge of accounting principles.
  
• Experience or familiarity with financial statement preparation and accounting software.
• Knowledge in financial risk management and financial planning.
• Capabilities in cash flow forecasting and investment analysis.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Either pursuing or holding a degree in Finance, Accounting, or related disciplines.
