Accountant

About the Role

Dairymaster is seeking to hire a full-time Accountant based at their Global Headquarters in Causeway, Tralee, County Kerry, Ireland. The Accountant will report directly to the Finance Director and handle the daily financial operations including maintaining precise financial records, performing reconciliations, and managing ledger entries.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily financial functions and ensure accurate bookkeeping.
• Prepare and submit VAT, Intrastat, and VIES returns to the Revenue Commissioners.
• Coordinate with external auditors for the annual audit and stocktaking process.
• Identify and report financial discrepancies to management promptly.
• Collaborate with internal departments to maintain financial accuracy and streamline processes.
• Carry out additional accounting tasks or other duties as delegated by management in a timely manner.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is required.
• Newly qualified accountants (ACA, ACCA, or CPA) are particularly encouraged to apply.
• Strong eagerness to grow professionally within the organization.
• Dependable with a keen eye for detail and robust technical accounting knowledge.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills coupled with strong organizational and time management abilities.
