Key Responsibilities
- Establish and manage strong relationships with category managers, buyers, industry influencers, and crucial customers to uncover new business prospects.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline centered on coffee and beverage growth across focused US regions.
- Increase market footprint in channels such as convenience stores, traditional roasting, restaurants, and foodservice sectors.
- Oversee current client accounts aiming to boost revenue, profits, satisfaction, and lasting partnership value.
- Work collaboratively with sales, marketing, R&D, and operations teams to enhance customer solutions and commercial projects.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry changes to spot growth opportunities and devise strategic plans.
- Assist in formulating, implementing, and refining sales strategies and category development initiatives.
- Coordinate sales proposals and processes with internal stakeholders and leadership.
- Participate in trade exhibitions, industry events, and networking to deepen market insights and client networks.
- Report to leadership on sales results, pipeline status, business development, and key metrics.
- Guide, lead, and mentor foodservice and national account management efforts to support commercial expansion.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
- At least 5 years of commercial experience within the liquid coffee industry.
- Proven track record in developing and expanding beverage products, including bespoke or white-label solutions.
- Well-established connections with purchasing teams, category managers, OCS firms, and key industry players.
- Valuable existing relationships with national or regional retail, restaurant, or foodservice chains.
- Successful history in business development, managing accounts, and closing deals.
- Strong strategic acumen, effective negotiation, communication, and relationship-building capabilities.
- Ability to work autonomously, manage priorities, and own business growth initiatives.
- Results-driven mindset complemented by sharp analytical and organizational skills.
- Readiness and ability to travel up to 70% to support clients, events, and business growth efforts.
