Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration systems efficiently.
• Diagnose faults and troubleshoot problems in HVAC equipment and control systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to enhance system reliability and performance.
• Inspect equipment for worn or faulty parts, replacing them as needed.
• Test system performance including electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant components.
• Recharge refrigerant systems following environmental and safety standards.
• Interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings to guide work.
• Maintain adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout all tasks.
• Keep detailed records of service reports, maintenance activities, and equipment documentation.
• Respond quickly to emergency repairs and equipment failures.
• Collaborate effectively with supervisors, engineers, and maintenance teams to complete assignments.

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational certification in HVAC/R strongly preferred.
• Possession of a valid HVAC/A/C Technician certification or license where applicable.
• Demonstrated experience in air conditioning and refrigeration system installation and maintenance.
• Comprehensive understanding of HVAC systems, electrical controls, refrigeration cycles, and mechanical components.
• Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Skilled in using HVAC diagnostic instruments, testing devices, and hand tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.

Additional Information

• Previous experience is advantageous.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and problem-solving aptitude are important.
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
