About the Internship
Join AKS Tech, an IT services and consulting firm specialized in modernizing software, cloud, data, and security solutions, as a Mechanical Engineering intern. This role is tailored for motivated mechanical engineering students with proficiency in design and simulation software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Catia, ANSYS, Autodesk Fusion 360, and Solid Edge. Experience in both mechanical and electrical product design is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the design and development of mechanical and electrical products utilizing CAD software including SolidWorks, Catia, and Autodesk Fusion 360.
- Work alongside the engineering team to generate comprehensive manufacturing drawings and blueprints.
- Use ANSYS to execute performance analysis and durability simulations to optimize product quality.
- Assist in prototype testing efforts and contribute feedback for product enhancements.
- Research emerging industry technologies and trends to inform design improvements.
- Participate in project management activities to maintain timeline adherence.
- Facilitate effective communication within the team to ensure efficient project progress and completion.
Candidate Eligibility
The internship is open exclusively to candidates who can commit to working remotely, are available during the 5-month internship period starting between 21st July 2026 and 25th August 2026, possess relevant skills and interests, and are currently pursuing Mechanical Engineering studies. Fresh graduates seeking job opportunities may also apply.
Compensation and Benefits
The monthly stipend ranges from ₹25,000 to ₹27,000. Additional advantages include a certificate of completion, letter of recommendation, flexible work hours, a five-day workweek, and the potential for a job offer following successful internship completion.
Additional Information
- Upon conversion to a permanent employee post-internship, the expected annual salary will be between ₹650,000 and ₹750,000.
