About the Internship
Fancy Pastels is a Jaipur-based brand in the slow fashion space, focused on handcrafted and hand-block printed apparel for both women and men. They are offering two internship positions to provide support across multiple business departments including customer care, marketing, production, and logistics. Interns will work closely and learn from department leaders such as the Customer Care Head, Production Manager, and Marketing team. The tasks will be assigned based on the interns' areas of strength, with potential specializations towards either customer & marketing activities or production & logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Customer Care Head in managing inquiries received through Instagram, WhatsApp, and email regarding order status, sizing, and exchanges, maintaining a warm and brand-aligned communication style.
- Handle coordination of product returns and exchanges, ensuring customers are kept informed throughout the process.
- Support the marketing team by creating Instagram content including reels, posts, stories, and drafting captions and product descriptions.
- Coordinate with social media influencers and content creators, and monitor the progress of their campaigns and deliverables.
- Collaborate with the Production Manager to liaise with karigars and tailors, track production schedules, and perform quality checks on finished products.
- Maintain and update inventory records, alerting relevant teams about low stock levels or raw material requirements.
- Support logistics activities such as packing orders, dispatch coordination, booking couriers, and addressing delivery-related issues including returns-to-origin, delays, and lost shipments.
- Maintain a daily log of orders tracking progress from production to dispatch and final delivery.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be available for a full-time, in-office internship based in Jaipur.
- Start date must fall between July 13 and August 17, 2026.
- Commitment to the entire 3-month internship duration is required.
- Candidates should have relevant skills and demonstrate genuine interest in the role.
- Preference for students or recent graduates with proactive approaches and strong follow-up capabilities.
- Interest in fashion or D2C (Direct-to-Consumer) brands is advantageous.
- Applicants should specify whether their strengths are more aligned with content/social media or operations in their applications.
Required Skills
- Fluent written and spoken English and Hindi.
- Strong proficiency in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional yet warm demeanor.
- Either a creative flair suitable for content/social media work or a detail-oriented mindset for handling operations effectively.
- Familiarity with Canva is considered a plus but not mandatory.
Additional Details
- This is an on-site internship opportunity with a monthly stipend ranging from INR 10,000 to 12,000.
- Two positions are available for immediate start with a commitment of three months.
- Upon completion, interns will receive a certificate and a letter of recommendation from Fancy Pastels.
