About the internship
This internship is with Basti Ki Pathshala Foundation, a government-registered grassroots organization working to improve access to education for children in underserved and slum communities. The role offers a chance to contribute to projects that support the foundation’s educational platform and help build tools that can positively impact underprivileged learners.
What you will work on
- Partner with the development team to plan and add new functionality to the educational platform.
- Develop well-structured, efficient, and maintainable code using Java along with supporting web technologies.
- Identify, investigate, and fix technical issues to keep the platform running smoothly.
- Build and refine the frontend experience so the interface is intuitive and visually engaging.
- Create backend logic for handling data flow, processing, and storage effectively.
- Participate in user testing and use feedback to improve the interface and overall user experience.
- Keep up with current tools and industry practices and bring practical ideas to the team.
