About the Internship
Join Women First India Foundation as a Front End Development intern and contribute directly to empowering women across India by building engaging and accessible websites and applications. Collaborate with expert designers and developers to enhance our digital presence and further our mission of gender equality.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the design and development of responsive, user-friendly web interfaces focused on accessibility and user experience.
- Write and maintain front-end code for projects using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Work closely with the design team to bring prototypes and mockups to life.
- Perform comprehensive testing and debugging to ensure smooth operation across multiple browsers and devices.
- Keep informed about emerging trends and best practices in front-end development.
- Engage in team discussions, sharing innovative ideas and contributing to problem-solving.
- Undertake additional assignments as needed to support organizational goals.
Candidate Eligibility
- Applicants must be available to work remotely and commit for one month starting between July 24 and August 28, 2026.
- Individuals with relevant front-end skills and interests, including women seeking to initiate or restart their careers, are encouraged to apply.
- Preference given to Computer Science Engineering students.
