About The Verandah

The Verandah is a multi-brand women’s fashion store featuring designers from the national circuit. Based in Ulsoor, the company also operates its own in-house production unit. It is looking for a design intern to support the in-house collection and help coordinate production.

Role Overview

This internship is suited to someone who is imaginative, proactive, and attentive to detail. The intern will contribute to fashion design work, support day-to-day operations, and assist with creative and production-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the creation of fashion illustrations and related design work.
• Interact with clients as part of the design and store workflow.
• Help monitor and organize inventory.
• Assist in sourcing materials required for production and collections.
• Contribute to social media promotions and content development.
• Stay adaptable while handling multiple creative and operational tasks.

Skills and Strengths Needed

A strong sense of fashion, an eye for detail, and solid organizational ability are important for this role. The intern should also be comfortable communicating with others and working in a fast-moving environment. Familiarity with design tools will be an added benefit.

Eligibility

Applicants must be available for a full-time, in-office internship and be able to begin between 7 July 2026 and 11 August 2026. The internship lasts for 3 months. Candidates should have relevant skills and a genuine interest in fashion. Women looking to begin or restart their careers are also welcome to apply.

Stipend

The internship offers a stipend of INR 6,000 per month.
