Job description
Overview
This role is a full-time contract position requiring 100% field presence. Extensive daily travel throughout your assigned zone and nearby mapped towns is a must. You will report to the Zone Lead and an internal coordinator, providing daily updates on activities.
Compensation includes a fixed monthly salary of INR 35,000, complemented by performance incentives that can reach up to INR 95,000 per week.
Role Summary
As a Zonal Data Captain, you will spearhead business development within your zone, responsible for securing and managing a continuous flow of commercial video data collection opportunities. This involves direct engagement with business owners, converting them to clients, and ensuring consistent data recording operations within your territory. Your mission is to expand into newly mapped towns assigned to your zone and maintain strong client relationships throughout the recording process.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily conversion of at least 8 new businesses for commercial video data collection purposes.
- Focus on environments that allow for multi-worker and two-shift operations such as factories, manufacturing units, workshops, service centers, commercial kitchens, warehouses, printing and packaging units, and facility management operations.
- Accurately complete and submit business conversion forms on the same day as the conversion.
- Ensure each converted business is a verified, reachable entity scheduled and ready for recording.
- Scout and map your territory, expanding into nearby towns and industrial clusters linked to your zone.
- Identify new commercial sectors and corridors with strong recording potential.
- Develop detailed knowledge of corridor-level geography including streets, estates, and clusters with dense pockets of qualifying businesses.
- Regularly update your internal coordinator on the pipeline progress, recording schedules, and any issues encountered on the ground.
- Support recording operations on-site by resolving business owner concerns, managing access issues, and addressing scheduling conflicts promptly.
- Maintain ongoing relationships to keep businesses engaged throughout their recording cycles.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is adept at face-to-face sales and vendor acquisition with a readiness for extensive travel within their zone. They demonstrate high ownership, treating their allocated territory as their own business, and consistently deliver on strict daily conversion targets.
